My Budget Privacy Policy

Household Anchor Technology LLC · Effective October 27, 2026

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how My Budget, an Android budgeting application developed by Household Anchor Technology LLC, handles financial and other information. It applies to the My Budget Open Testing release and is separate from the privacy policies of the company's other applications.

Information you enter

The app allows you to enter information such as income and paycheck dates, checking-account balances, bill and debt details, payment statuses, spending transactions, fuel records, savings goals, notes, and financial planning preferences. You choose what to enter. My Budget does not connect to your bank accounts, request bank credentials, initiate transactions, or move money.

Local storage and processing

My Budget is an offline-first Android application. Budget records are processed and stored on your device rather than automatically uploaded to Household Anchor Technology LLC. The Android release uses an encrypted native storage vault backed by Android key-management facilities. The application does not provide account sign-in or cloud budget synchronization in this Open Testing release.

Backups and sharing

If you choose to export your budget, My Budget creates an encrypted backup protected by a password you select. You can then use your device's file-sharing and storage options to save or share the file. The destination and any storage or sharing provider you choose have their own privacy practices. Keep your backup password safe: we cannot retrieve or reset it, and an uninstall, device loss, or app-data reset can make a locally stored budget unrecoverable without a working backup.

Collection, sharing, and advertising

The current Open Testing version does not automatically send your budget records to us and does not include in-app advertising, analytics tracking, or an active Premium purchase service. We do not sell or share your budget records with advertisers. Information you voluntarily send when contacting our support or privacy address is handled for responding to your inquiry. The Android operating system, Google Play, and user-selected sharing or backup services may separately process technical or account information under their own policies.

Data retention and deletion

Your financial records remain in the app's local storage until you change, reset, or clear the relevant data, or remove the app. The app may keep local recovery copies of older budgets after a restore or replacement, so resetting an active budget does not necessarily erase every local recovery copy. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes app-managed local storage but may also prevent recovery. Copies you previously exported or shared must be deleted separately from the locations where you saved them. If you email us, we may retain correspondence as reasonably necessary to resolve requests and satisfy applicable recordkeeping obligations; contact us to request deletion of correspondence where applicable.

Security and limitations

We use on-device encryption for financial records, encrypt user-initiated backups with password-based cryptography, and configure the app to exclude its data from normal Android system backups. No method of storage or transfer can guarantee perfect security. Protect access to your device and store backup files and passwords securely.

Children

My Budget is intended as a general personal budgeting tool and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information through this offline-first Open Testing release.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if app features, data practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated text with a new effective date and update the in-app policy when appropriate.
